About the Position:

The Pastor of Worship & Media will lead, build, and oversee the Worship at Cary FBC. This Pastor will also oversee the Media Ministry and work closely with the Media & IT teams.

 

Responsibilities:​​

  • Lead, Build, Oversee Worship Ministry

  • Planning Worship Services

  • Recruiting, auditioning, teaching, and training musicians to lead in Worship

  • Leading weekly rehearsals that serve a dual purpose 

  • Oversee Media Department, working closely with Media & IT teams

  • Oversee 218 Academy 

  • Training new musicians for further expansions within 218 Academy

  • Lead additional services (mid-week, evening, etc.)

  • Move beyond a mainly musical role with the team to a more pastoral role including Hospital visits, etc

  • This role also includes other duties as assigned by the Senior or Associate Pastors

  • Gifted singer & musician

  • Able to make disciples

  • Able to identify, enlist, and create passionate teams to lead in Worship

  • Previous experience in audio, video, and lighting

  • Does all things with excellence
