Position - Worship Pastor

About the Position:

To serve as a team player assisting the CFBC Worship Ministry staff in leading people to 

a deeper understanding of life-style worship through example, education, and

relationship.

 

Responsibilities:​​

  • Fully connect to the life of CFBC (both locally and globally).  

 

  • Believe in and support the vision, values and priorities of the church and leadership.  

 

  • Serve as an integral part of the overall vision and mission, and participate in church life as a leader and member

​

  • Be a “team player,” working in coordination with all other CFBC global and local staff

​​

  • Plan service flow/elements and oversee execution of weekly Sunday and Wednesday services

​​

  • Attend all North Klein staff meetings, as well as global ministry staff and global worship staff meetings as requested and necessary

​​

  • Coordinate, oversee, and run sound checks and rehearsals

​​

  • Serve as liaison to NK media staff

​​

  • Develop and mentor instrumentalists, vocalists, and other volunteers

​​

  • Plan, assist, and develop music and worship experiences for special events, holidays, and other CFBC Conroe ministry gatherings

​​

  • Develop, proof, and implement ProPresenter files for all NK worship events

​​

  • Provide music for weddings, funerals, and other events as needed

​​

  • Communicate set up and facilities needs to maintenance staff weekly

​​

  • Communicate with all musicians through PCO on a weekly basis

​​

  • Create stems, loops, and recordings as needed

​​

  • Plan, coordinate, and provide music as needed for special events, bible studies, conferences, meetings, etc

​​

  • Maintain NK campus musical instruments and equipment

​​

  • Serve as member of bands, choirs, and services as needed and requested

​​

  • Serve as an active participant in all global events, seasonal activities, and when requested

​​

  • Lead NK student worship (or coordinate and supervise volunteer leader)

​​

  • Coordinate and lead, or work with choir director, to encourage and develop NK worship choir

​​

  • Supervise and coordinate all NK social media accounts

​​

  • Work with NK Spanish worship staff in the development and execution of the Spanish worship experience

​​

  • Maintain flexibility and availability as the Lord leads
